Safe Sitters
Better sitters today...better parents tomorrow
Beaufort County Medical Center offers the Safe Sitter babysitting class for youth 11–13 years old.
The Safe Sitter class prepares babysitters for the responsibility of child care. Students will
learn how to handle situations such as:
Sitter Safety
Choking infant and child rescue
What to say if you had to call 911
First aid
How to screen babysitting jobs
When to accept or refuse jobs
Child behavior Management
How to change a diaper
Preventing injuries & injury management
Safe Sitters learn these things…and more!
The class is limited to 6 participants per class.
